1.1 BACKGROUND OF THE STUDY
Consumption Pattern can be defined as, consumption Pattern is the consumption done by the consumer of a particular Product during a day. The variation in the amount of product of a company a customer uses over time the measurement of the consumption Pattern typically begins when a company wants to know the consumption pattern of its product, Average consumption of their product by the consumer, consumer’s preferences, to find market potential. Home Made Pickels were common preference among all the housewives some years before. With the changing lifestyle and income levels, Urbanisation, people are shifting their consumption patterns and purchasing more & more readymade pickel.
