The Little Prince was first published in 1943. It is one of the most famous fairy tales in the world. It was written by a French aviator—Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. This book has been translated into more than 190 languages and has sold more than 80 million copies. Although it was written in the first half of the Twentieth Century, it is very popular up till now and the thought it carries still have a significant effect on people in our time.
  The little prince was the main character in the book, who came from a very small planet—only the size of a house. The planet was so desolate. There were only three volcanos on his planet, and trees called baobabs grew on it. The little prince lived lonely on the small planet.
  One day, a seed was blew onto his planet and grew into a flower that the little prince had never seen before. The flower turned out to be a rose, who was so beautiful and constantly demanded the little prince's care. He loved her very much and was happy to water her and protect her. But the little prince soon doubted the rose's love. He believed that her words were not sincere. Finally, he determined to leave the planet and his beloved rose.
  He began his travel and visited several neighbouring planets, where he met different kind of people. For example, he met a king who ordered people to obey his command. He also met a   businessman, a lamplighter, a geographer and so on. The little prince was confused by their strange behaviour. He had always been a person who knew little of the world.
  Then the little prince visited the earth where he meets a fox, who asked the little prince to tame him. The prince did not understand what the word tame meant. The fox said the word tame meant to establish relationship with others. If the little prince tamed her, they would both need each other.
