Suggestion form Recently, my family and I had a dinner in your restaurant. I had ordered a steamed chicken, which is a promotion offer of HK$1. It is an effective gimmick to attract more customers, however, it also causes a large amount of food waste. Besides, the food quality of the chicken and the service need to be improved. Here are some suggestions. l Promotion turns into food waste The existing promotion offer is The alternative way is to raise the price of the promotion offer, such as HK$50 per a steamed chicken so as to reduce the demand of the chicken and the amount of leftover dishes. l Quality of food As there is over-demand of the HK$1 steamed chicken, a large amount of chicken need to be prepared everyday. Therefore, the food quality control cannot be maintained as before. As a result, many customers are not satisfied with the taste of the chicken and causes food waste. To deal with the food quality problem, I suggest changing the chicken dish into a dessert or a fruit dish. These two dishes can be prepared in a large amount to fulfill the demand of customers and also the taste can be kept for a long time. Moreover, you may produce the same dish in different portions for customers to order so that food waste can be reduced. l The staff service Due to the effective promotion offer, there are crowds of people having dinner in your restaurant so that the waiters cannot take care of every customer’s need. Some of the customers may be neglected by the waiters or orders may be mistaken so that the willingness of patronizing your restaurant is reduced. Therefore, an improvement of the service is suggested. You may hire more waiters or provide more training for waiters so that all customers’ needs can be looked after. The service quality can be improved as well. I sincerely hope that my suggestions can be implemented. Hope you find my suggestions useful and

There is beginning to be a change within the restaurant that is affecting customer reviews. Customers would like to be seated promptly, served in a reasonable amount of time, and an improved dining experience for the cost. On the weekends customers may have to wait for up to 45 minutes without having a waiting room to sit in. A comfortable and relaxing waiting room may help customers feel more invited to the restaurant and enjoy their wait. Customers not being served in a reasonable amount of time can be very frustrating. After sitting longer than expected the customers may not be as hungry anymore or may be tired of waiting for an extended period of time. Also, the issue with being served in a reasonable amount of time and believing that the dining experience was not worth the cost may result from the same issue of the quality of food being delivered.…

Olive Garden is committed to providing every guest with a genuine Italian dining experience and make the guest feel like they are family; in Italian it is called Hospitaliano! In an effort to have competitive advantage over other chain restaurants, Olive Garden emphasizes comprehensive employee trainings in order to provide their customers the best service possible. But even though employees have gone through training, there are some issues that would need to be fixed in order to have 100% customer satisfaction. The issues we have identified for Olive Garden Restaurants are the hostess system, reservations, running of the food, and inputting the order. The hostess system will be implemented by working with the IT department to change the system. The second issue is with the reservations; we suggest taking reservations for a party of five or more and will be placed on top of the list once they arrive to the restaurant instead of having to wait. The third issue is the running of the food; we plan on hiring additional workers who are dedicated to run the food. And the final issue is inputting the guests order, we suggest additional training for the employees or an additional “cheat sheet” stating the times each entrée needs in order to be prepared.…

Their attention was focused on the task at hand and there was no sight of anyone being unproductive. When we entered the restaurant, we were given a warm and friendly greeting by a hostess. The wait for a table on a Friday night was only about 20 minutes, and the electronic guest caller made the waiting experience hassle free. From the time we were sat, and throughout the entire dining experience, we never felt rushed and all of our requests were accommodated. We observed all staff conduct themselves in a professional manner. Training was evident in the manner we were spoken to, especially when the server suggested a number of items seamlessly. She displayed a great deal of product knowledge and was not too pushy when it came to…
