This article on " Failures are stepping stones to success “ will boost your confidence to be successful in Written Ability Test : Some of the most successful people in the world have attributed their success to either failure or the fear of failure. Some great people have often shared that it was the fear of failure that kept them winning. However, even greater heights were achieved by those people who treated their failure as a stepping stone to success. One can say without batting an eyelid that the greatest success stories are of those who once failed miserably but who stood up and fought the battle owing to their courage. What is so humbling about failure that it changes people into better persons? What is so inspiring about failure which incites people to change their story of loss into their story of achievement? Most people are afraid of failure. They do not want to taste the bitter feeling that comes with failure. However, when a person has already failed, he comes face to face with his fears and whether or not he wants to fight them; he is compelled to do so. Failure takes away our biggest fears from us and in turn, gives us the fearless spirit which is most required to be successful. Steve Jobs, the founder of Apple, had to go through the worst phase of his life before he could taste the best. He was fired from the company he started. During one of his lectures, Jobs said, “I didn't see it then, but it turned out that getting fired from Apple was the best thing that could have ever happened to me. The heaviness of being successful was replaced by the lightness of being a beginner again, less sure about everything. It freed me to enter one of the most creative periods of my life.” Success also brings along with itself a lot of expectations. Often, people feel over shadowed by these expectations. A failure provides them a chance to release the burden and start all over again. If a person desires to succeed, the only mantra is – try and try, till you succeed. If you wish to be successful, work as hard as you can. And if you wish to be greatly successful, stand up every time you fall and stand up with greater energy, stronger motivation and unflinching spirit.

There is an idea that can be a negative or positive force for self-improvement. This idea can take a life of its own and can run rampant on a person’s life if not handled well enough or ignore the existence of it, and just let it run its disastrous course. Failure is the idea that I am referring to, because of its ability to be a negative force that holds a person down or begin a new outlook in life where using the notion of failure as a motivating factor to improve oneself. However, most of the times when people are well conditioned to the concept of failing they will try their very best to avoid the sensation, or the experience failure because they fear the rejection from societies pre-set standards and become an outsider when they do fail.…

As I search for the path to take, I find myself wondering how does one achieve success despite the desired conclusion; how? One may say luck is behind the magnitude of one’s success, others say education is the key to a stable and prosperous future but every year millions of students and individual’s inherent fortunes or gain a degree and never amount or obtain their desired conclusion. The question remains what are these “successful individuals” doing to achieve their goals? As I read through the copious amount of text on the man kinds list of successful I find myself finding a common between these men and woman. It is not in the shape of an Ivy League diploma or a tremendous inheritance but something more intrinsic, and attribute in which some label as ignorance or stupidity, its called courage. Throughout Henry Ford’s life he faced many different obstacles some small, some big and some seeming unsurpassable. If there is one attribute in which I admire most in Steve Jobs is his courage. Steve’s courage to stray from the…

Failure is something that we cannot go through life without experiencing. The best thing about failure is that failure can be used as a great learning experience to improve upon things in our lives and career. The question of failure is, in fact, a success in itself. I frame my life knowing that every obstruction and challenge faced is just a lesson waiting to be learned. The circumstances that genuinely made me believe this philosophy happened when I began working at Chick-Fil-A. Starting my work at the offset of 16 I promised myself that I was going to prove to the management that I was going to progress to become one of the best. Throughout the years of working there I upheld my promise and worked my way up to become a Team Leader. The youngest Team leader ever to work at that Chick-Fil-A.…

Failure is one word that no one wants to hear. It is something we all fear and hope to never experience, yet is a part of all our lives. We fail math tests, English essays, job interviews, progress reports; we all fail something. These are all easily measurable, tangible failures with calculable consequences. However, failure is defined as “a lack of success”. This “lack of success” extends much farther than just tangible actions. The biggest failure is when we fail ourselves.…
