Subhash Chandra Bose is one of the most dynamic leaders of India's struggle of independence. affectionately known as Netaji, he was one of the most prominent Indian nationalist leaders who attempted to gain India's independence from British rule by force during the waning years of World War II  . Hence, on his birthday centenary, and in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the independence of India, it is appropriate to pay our tribute to this glorious son of India. He fought for his country’s cause. He gave up his life for his motherland. His death was a great loss to the country .Though Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru have garnered much of the credit for successful culmination of Indian freedom struggle, the contribution of Subash Chandra Bose is no less. He has been denied his rightful place in the annals of Indian history. He founded Indian National Army (Azad Hind Fauj) to overthrow British Empire from India and came to acquire legendary status among Indian masses. Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose was one of those who sacrificed their lives in the freedom movement of India. Subhas Bose was a born leader. People were always ready to risk their lives on his call.He was a fierce and popular leader in the political scene in pre-independence India, so it did not come as shock when he was elected the President of All India Congress in 1938 Subhas was in favor of armed revolution in order to drive out the British.. Bose advocated complete unconditional independence for India. He was acclaimed as a semigod, akin to the many mythological heroes like Rama or Krishna, and continues as a legend in Indian mind. Subhash Chandra Bose was a very able man. He had excellent moral character. He had a grand personality. Any one who met him always admired him. He was a great general.
