Student Survival Guide   When I choose to go to an online school I didn’t realize how much there was to learn about how it all worked. I’m glad that this course is available to all beginners. It really helped to understand what was accepted of me and how to go about doing everything. So I’m going to summarize some of the things I learned to maybe help others who might not get the opportunity to take a course like this.   *Using Axia’s* Educational Resources   Upholding Academic Honesty   A very important thing to remember is HONESTY! It is critical that you always, always check your work. Make sure you are not plagiarizing any thing. This goes for all schools weather is be online or a campus. You never want to take someone else’s work and make it your own. Axiahas a plagiarize checker. Here you can submit your paper for it to be double checked for any coping of any information. When the checker is finished with your paper you can look it over and it will tell you what percentage of your paper is copied if any. I will always use this tool before submitting any of my papers. Its important that you cite any information you have used from other also.   Setting and Achieving Goals   Setting goals for me has always been an important thing to me. When I was in seventh grade my geography teacher talked to us about setting goals. We were asked to write down some goals and to keep them in our wallets. I no longer have that paper but I do remember some of my goals and I hope to eventually accomplish them. Its important to set goals so you know what you want in life and to learn the steps to achieving these goals. In this class I also had to write down some goals. Only these goals had more to do with my career. And now I know what it is that I have to do to get where I want to go.
