The cool night breeze whistled softly, blowing lightly through my hair. The sky was deep, clear blue and moonlight reflected on other people’s window. After the stifing heat of the day I and my friend felt relieved. It was holiday next day and my friend was coming at my place for night stay. So, we had planned going to a place which was completely dark from inside. It was a huge building which had cracks on it, trees covered all over the building. I was scared, but was looking forward for an amazing experience! It was really cold that day. My friend was not at all scared. But As I stood, gazing at the dilapidated house. I shivered, as though, ice had replaced my spine. The cold air enveloped the entire body. The multiple layer of clothing could not protect against the deathly cold. The walkway leading up to house were cracked. Weeds and dandelions poked out from these cracks. Suddenly my friend disappeared. I don’t know where did she go? I was really tensed already it was completely dark, no one was there with me, and I was shivering. Still, I went into inside the house, thinking she might have gone inside.  I approached and opened the door. A musty, dank order creep into my nose. Suddenly I saw a crooked white figure, I turned back to run away but it was completely black. My breath became short, shallow gasps as my chest heaved up and down heavily. I felt dampness on my palms, and beads of sweat were running down my face. I was really tensed. I rubbed my eyes, convinced myself that I was simply suffering from a lack of sleep or maybe was already scared. I kept my hand bad aside and suddenly it got disappeared. I took a deep breath and then it hit me a weird smell smacked against my nose with such force that I reeled back in shock. I shouted my friend’s name again and again but there was no replying thought she might have gone. I made my way back into the hallway; a slimmer of light came from behind a door. I...
