The James’ family were on their way to visit their grandparents who live in Cornwall for the first time. Jenny, the youngest of them all couldn’t wait to see her grandparents for the first time She had the sweetest smile you could ever imagine, long dark black hair, green eyes, and an obsession with her one-eyed teddy bear. But Jim on the other hand didn’t want to leave his friends and his Xbox behind. You could say he was the complete opposite to his sister. He had short black hair, brown eyes and was rather obese for his age. The mother and wife of the family, Kate was a house wife who was really enthusiastic about going out with the family. She was a very social person who was very kind. Finally there was dad, or Joe. He was the favourite parent and also the role-model for the children.
They finally arrived and pulled up outside the house. Waiting outside the family sized cottage was Joes parents. Jenny and Jim stared in horror at them as they had the most hideous appearance ever. Granddad had an enormous hunch back with a rotting walking stick in his four fingered left hand. His nose was as pointy as an elephants tusk and his bald head was very shiny indeed. Grandma had a constant freaky smile which seemed as if she had Botox. She wore purple tinted reading glassed and was as frail as tree bark. The grandparents welcomed them into what seemed to be a normal cottage on the outside but it was completely different on the inside. As they stepped into the house the family was in shock due to the fact that it was full of spider webs and they still used candles to light the weary house.
