Steve Jobs was born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco California and died October 5 2011in Palo Alto, California. Unnamed at birth, Steve was put up for adoption by his biological parents, Joanne Schieble and Abdulfattah Jandali. After Schieble’s parents objected to her relationship with the Syrian born Jandali the couple found themselves with no other options but adoption. Adopted by Clara and Paul Jobs, Steve was given the formal name of, Steven Paul Jobs. He spent the majority of his childhood living comfortably in Mountain View, California. Job’s adoptive mother Clara was an accountant and his adoptive father Paul was a mechanic and a carpenter. Paul taught Jobs how to work with his hands, teaching him how to take apart and rebuild a myriad of different objects such as radios and televisions. Intrigued by technology Steve developed an interest in the workings of different electronics, encouraging confidence, tenacity, and mechanical prowess in him, as a young child (Bio.com/SteveJobs). Even before being enrolled into Homestead High School in 1979, Steve was always viewed as an “intelligent and innovative” thinker. His test scores in elementary school were so high that school officials at Monta Loma recommended that he skip two grades, his parents however made the executive decision that he only skip one. In high school Job’s met Bill Fernandez, a neighbor that shared the same interest in electronics. Fernandez then introduced Steve to an older electronically savvy whiz kid by name of Steve Wozniak. Following high school graduation in 1972 Job’s attended Reed College in Portland, Oregon. However because of his parents tenuous financial standing Job’s had to drop out after only six months of classes. He spent the next eighteen months of his life attending different creative classes whilst sleeping on friend’s dorm room floors and struggling to eat.
