Client Consultant Training Manual
Welcome to Appstar Financial. It is our mission to maintain a world class sales and training organization.
This document has been created to provide you with a basic understanding of our industry including history, rates, fees, equipment and terminology. This course work and practice test should take between two and four hours to complete. Study it carefully as it will lay the groundwork for teletraining class where we will concentrate on teaching you how to sell our products and services.
Appstar Financial has successfully assisted people just like you who entered this business with little or no industry experience. In addition to our world class training, Appstar also provides support at every step of the sale. We assist you by presetting many of your appointments with qualified merchants in your area.
We also provide closing assistance at every presentation and will even help you with the paperwork required to complete a sale. We have honed these steps into a highly effective business model. What we expect from you is that you learn as much as you can before you attend our teletraining class and follow our method for success.
Appstar Financial was founded in 2002 and is headquartered in San Diego, California.
Appstar has approximately 60 employees, 85 outside sales consultants nationwide and does business with thousands of small to medium sized entities. Upon completion of this material and our teletraining class, you will be an independent contractor for Appstar Financial. Appstar’s management team has considerable industry experience, having boarded in excess of 100,000 merchants. Appstar simplifies the merchant experience that starts with the merchant application and ends with superior customer service delivered 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Before an invitation to attend our teletraining class will be extended, you must complete the territory selection sheet and practice quiz located on pages 15-17 of this manual and fax it

    I can understand your concern with your network security and better securing your information without losing productivity. You can set up your users to have their passwords be changed at a certain time and I would recommend a short amount of time in-between. And also you can have the passwords be in a certain context or to be made a certain way and make sheer that the security levels are high on them so that a hacker has a harder time to get in to the network. I recommend you use the following format; using capital and lower case letters the first letter of their name, their whole last name and their employee number, ex. “JVentura10415867@Domain*%$.Local” if someone tried to hack the account and all that they knew was the person name and the domain name they could not get in because it is very unlikely that they would know that person employee number and if they do then you have a spy in your company. Can also buy better security items to better your network things like smart card, finger print scanners, retinal scanners, and others.
