A. Statement of the Problem
This study aims to determine and compare the quality of the PET bottles with soil and to gravel and sand in usual flooring specifically the following questions will be answered:
1. What is the quality of a floor that was made up of soil and PET bottles in terms of:
1.1 Durability
1.2 Life Span
1.3 Texture
2. What is the quality of PET bottles with gravel and sand and the PET bottles with soil in terms of:
1.1 Durability
1.2 Life Span
1.3 Texture
3. Is there a significant difference between of PET bottles with soil, than a PET bottle with gravel and sand in flooring.
B. Statement of the Hypothesis
After some initial research we formulated the null hypothesis.
There is no significant difference but the quality the PET bottles and the gravel and sand are more capable of being flooring.
C. Conceptual Framework
Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) is one of the most commonly used food grade packaging plastics due to its chemical inertness and appealing physical properties. As with most plastics
Soil material is a critical component in the mining and construction industries. Soil serves as a foundation for most construction projects. Massive volumes of soil can be involved in surface mining, road building and dam construction. Earth sheltering is the architectural practice of using soil for external thermal mass against building walls.
