Growing up I wanted to be an engineer, I had so much passion for construction back then in high school. After high school, I went on to a polytechnic to pursue a diploma in civil engineering; I planned to pursue this course up to master’s levels. However, along the line, I lost interest and opted for business instead, thus the international business degree choice of course. This was influenced by a long linage of family business passion. When I began my undergraduate career, I had the opportunity to be exposed to full range of Business courses all at international levels. This reinforced and solidifies my interest in International Business. I had the opportunity to study in a classroom with more than 8 to 10 different nationalities, learnt different cultures and understood how business varies across different parts of the world. I was able to look at the world from a different perspective, amazing experience I would say.
In the realm of international business courses, I have developed kin interest in Global affairs and I intend to know more. To me, it is interesting and I can feel everything being thought in class around me. Also, another thing that fueled my passion for this course is the dilapidating state of my country’s economy level which has left about 50 percent of its citizen in abject poverty. This is due to corruption and mismanagement of funds. I hope someday I will be able to contribute my quota to curb this situation, my biggest dream. I am highly aware of the superb reputation of your University and also the facilities. I am looking for a conducive, learning environment with the right facility and academic resources to study and plan my career and equally chase my dream. I hope I get the privilege and opportunity to study in your reputable institution.
