1. What details of your life have shaped you and influenced your goals? Ans. From my early childhood till today, my most remarkable characteristics have been my curiosity to learn new topics. My keen interest for learning new ideas, when combined with my inner desire to reach a degree of excellence in every piece of work I perform, enabled me to acquire significant knowledge on various aspects of nature and technology, as well as leading me through a successful educational career.

2.What are your short term/ long term goals?
Ans. My ultimate goal in my career is to make a commendable contribution to the computing world either by starting an innovative venture or doing research which would change the dimensions of future computing and the way we perceive the computers. Now I have determined that a dedicated study on Computer Science will enable me to enhance my previous knowledge on the field and encourage in achieving my career goal. I am confident that my academic records and practical knowledge combined with my eagerness to do research exhibit the perseverance and zeal required to pursue a unergraduate Degree in your reputed university.

3. How will the U.S. education facilitate your plans?
Ans. The studies in India is totally theoretical while in US its all practical. This practicality will give me a chance to a better learning and better development of my brain. It will give me a valuable experience, and it will encourage me to keep exploring and doing more. Also the facilities given by the Colleges are better than that provided in India. I also want to live an independent life in USA that would make me capable of doing things on my own.

4. What special skills do you possess-communication, leadership , analytical , creativity , etc. relate this skills to your background. Ans.

5. Why do you consider yourself to be a strong candidate and more successfull and effective in the field than other applicants. In other words, what qualities are you bringing to the U.S university? Ans. Maybe my SAT score does not meet your SAT average score but my skills in programming will surely impress you. I know all the basic things like operating Microsoft word, Microsoft powerpoint but what gives me an edge is the programming platforms I know i.e HTML,Visual Basic, C, C++ and BlueJ(a form of java). And I am curious to learn algorithm , hacking and all such stuff. I am also good at physics, chemistry and maths. I got an A/A+ grade in all three subjects in 10th and 12th. If you give me a chance I wont let you down. I am a real hardworker and will toil to achieve success.

6. Tell us about your family background , schooling and any specific achievements during your school time. Ans. I am the youngest member in my family. My family comprises of me, my parents and an elder brother. My father, back here in India, is a businessman while my mother is a housewife. And my brother is a student, studying mechanical engineering in a engineering college. I completed my 1-7th std. studies at N.L Dalmia high school, 8-10th studies at Vissanji high school and 11-12th at Acharya Ambalal V.Patel Junior college, all of them being English medium.

7.Why did you choose this field of study?
Ans. In 10th std. I chose a subject, which I had never thought of, better never knew about, Computer Science. I Never knew that decision would prove so instrumental in my carrier. When my teacher started to teach the chapters of this subject I had no idea of what was going on. I was frustrated from top to bottom and thought that selection of this subject was a mistake. But I had to earn points so I started reading the chapters. When I was reading those chapters the second time it started making sense. Those dull boring chapters really became interesting and sensible. At the end of the day BlueJ was like at the back of my hand. I was curious to learn more and more.
