After defining the strategic framework, in the Operational Plan it is time to plan concrete activities with concrete time frames. The following plan has three years validation. During the first year the activities has urgent priority, second year medium priority and the third year the goals can be seen as constant priority. *Some of the actions are explained in details in the following text, the rest are either discussed in the previous assignment or selfexplanatory from the table.
Action 1 Finding a team What needs to be done? Even before the official registration and functioning of the NGO, most important goal is to find devoted employees (one part time accountant, one fulltime Marketing Assistant and several volunteers/interns to help running the operations in the first three months. During this period it is important that the NGO attracts interns who are specialized in WEB 2.0 tool and video editing in order to work towards positioning on the organization. How it will be done? The action here is to announce the employee position in http://www.jobs.bg/, writing a concrete portfolio with requirements. For interns, the action is connect to university data of Internship positions in Bulgaria and Europe (to be done by the marketing assistant), therefore the three intern positions can be filled. Creating Internship positions for FAB is expected to be of high interest because such practices are still very rare in Bulgaria and without doing internships, students most often feel unsure and to a certain level unprepared for entering the career world after graduating. Therefore, offering variety of internships will appeal to a larger public and will meet variety of needs for Food Aid Bridge and its projects. Positions are going to vary from Marketing, Communication, PR to Photography and Graphic Design. By when must be done and by whom? The most desired positions for the first 3 months are: Communication and PR position. Later when the organization grow Graphic Design and Photography interns in order to meet the need of creating brochures, posters or for fundraising campaign. There is going to be a simple description for each different volunteering role. In order to stimulate, it is important that the director outline the benefits to the potential volunteer:

Being on the start of Food Aid Bridge provides the unique experience of managing a growing organization, good cause, making a difference, getting work experience and connect to broad network shaping the future career of the intern. FAB will pay the interns transportation and lunch during the working day There is going to be dinner every six months in order to show appreciation to their work There will be recommendation for future projects, job positions, university applications etc.
