Starbucks: Business Overview
Millions walk into Starbucks everyday for their cup of coffee. There are several individuals that thrive on that morning afternoon and sometimes even coffee every day. Individual by Starbucks for whatever a present and a status symbol that usually comes with it. Starbucks in my opinion uses a combination of both external and internal sources of funds. The primary source of the company funds by name comes from the retail businesses, licensing and the food service operation.

To provide internal and external finance mean to engage in business activities using our money from within a company or funds from outside. Source of funds come from the consumers which is part of the internal source. Currently has more than 20,000, 891 stores nationwide. Starbucks has done an excellent job for marketing their brand. The company has had huge success with the small incentive program that was created to recognize their loyal customers which has resulted in a huge turn in profit.

Starbucks also generates some of its revenue from the various partnerships that the company has created. The various partnerships include but are not limited to Keriug Brewing Company, Apple, and Teavana. Starbucks always reinvest their money within their company. This is proven to be a success secret and has helped them to grow. The company is continually adding more products that can cater to anyone's need in order to expand their clientele. In my opinion I don't believe that the resources that Starbucks uses to provide their funds have changed in the past 3 years. As I stated previously Starbucks uses both internal and external funding sources. With this particular organization I feel that the use of both external and internal forces is something that they heavily rely upon. The internal sources are something that can have a huge impact on the company as a whole is there was a shift. The state of the economy particularly consumer spending can pose a huge threat to Starbucks'
