“Just keep swimming, Just keep swimming” is quote for the movie Finding Nemo. This is the quote often repeated by Dory, to push Marlin forward. Joseph Campbell came up with stages of a hero;describing the process a hero has to go threw to become an actual hero. In my essay I want describe the stages of a hero Marlin has to go through to becaome Nemo’s hero. Marlin is excited about new his home, assessing his home, waiting for the eggs to hatch. Through Dory,Marlin will learn how to NOT be afraid and to learn to take some risk. Marlin leaves his comfortable, safe zone and swims after Nemo. He continues to follow the boat, even in the wide open ocean.
The sharks that say they are friends, but then try to eat/attack them; Crush the 150 year old sea turtle that help marlin and dory from the jelly fish, and travel threw the currents; The fish in the tanks, that help Nemo escape; The pelican that brought Marlin to Nemo. Darla is the “Animal hater”; these are all character that helped Marlin and Nemo face some type of obstacle throughout the storey. Because, of how Marlin saw Nemo; he thinks he Nemo is dead. Marlin tells Dory goodbye and swims away. But, Dory rekindles Marlin’s hope when she finds Nemo. Dory then finds Marlin with Nemo. Now, Nemo and Dory reunite.
