What are some of the things that women need to be aware of in a pregnancy?
Many women are not familiar with what occurs in a pregnancy. Women are excited that they are having a baby, but they are not sure what to expect. There are many changes that a woman experiences in a pregnancy. Within the three trimesters, women go through changes that can cause them to experience some foods they never thought of. Cravings and mood swings are examples that women will experience during a pregnancy. The baby has different stages that it will experience during all three trimesters. Women need to be aware of the changes that the body will go through during pregnancy.

The first trimester is week one to week twelve. It includes having many different changes to a woman’s body. Being pregnant will cause a woman not to have a period within the nine months of the pregnancy process. The first few weeks of becoming pregnant may cause women to have tender or swollen breast. Women may have mood swings when it is about time for the menstrual cycle, but pregnancy may also include mood swings. Mood swings are caused by the woman’s hormones being out of order. The hormones have to change because of the embryo that is forming inside of the womb. The baby is an embryo consisting of two layers of cells where all her organs and body parts will be created. Some women may have other complications such as constipation, headaches, and having to urinate more often. The headaches are caused also by the hormones being messed up. The hormones are trying to figure out what is going on. Women do have to urinate more because there is an embryo sitting on the bladder of the woman. In the first trimester, some women have to change their daily routine due to the changes of the body that occur. Women also have cravings of foods that may be strange to other people. The hormones going irrational may cause women to eat things that they may have never eaten before....
