Network topology is the layout pattern of interconnections of the various elements ( links , nodes , etc.) of a computer network . [ 1 ] [ 2 ] Network topologies may be physical or logical. Network topology ay ang layout pattern ng interconnections ng iba't ibang elemento ( mga link , nodes , atbp) ng isang network computer . [1] [2] Network topologies ay maaaring pisikal o lohikal. Physical topology means the physical design of a network including the devices, location and cable installation. Logical topology refers to how data is actually transferred in a network as opposed to its physical design. Pisikal topology ay nangangahulugan na ang pisikal na disenyo ng isang network kasama na ang mga aparato na lokasyon, at cable instalasyon. Logical topology ay tumutukoy sa kung paano ang data ay talagang inilipat sa isang network bilang laban sa kanyang pisikal na disenyo.
Topology can be considered as a virtual shape or structure of a network. Topology ay maaaring itinuturing bilang isang virtual hugis o istraktura ng isang network. This shape does not correspond to the actual physical design of the devices on the computer network. hugis na ito ay hindi tumutugma sa mga aktwal na pisikal na disenyo ng mga aparato sa network ng computer. The computers on a home network can be arranged in a circle but it does not necessarily mean that it represents a ring topology.
