Statement of the manager’s problems
When reviewing the cupcake business Sprinkles, I found out multiple problems they have within their organization.
One problem is that it is unhealthy in various ways. Their ingredients include sweet cream butter, bittersweet Belgian chocolate, butter cream and many other ingredients that clearly aren’t to good for you. There are 497 calories in one single red velvet cupcake from sprinkles. They also serve certain cupcakes on certain days, which is a problem because they don’t have a wide variety every day.
Another crucial problem is the long wait in lines in the stores. It can be packed in stores at periods of times. The lines stretch out of the store and down the street at sprinkles. This may make people leave and not want to wait in line. They only do small deliveries as well. They only deliver to customers who live in the area of the store. They do not ship their cupcakes, which makes there target market smaller. Now the prices on the other hand are another problem that sprinkles is dealing with. Their cupcakes are pretty expensive and their stores can only really be put in higher income areas for them to be successful.
Finally the cupcake industry is a problem for them. They only have one product. They only sell cupcakes, people cant have cupcakes everyday of their lives.
Also on top of that the cupcake business is blowing up, it keeps growing instead of dyeing. This might just be a phase though, that can end soon. The cupcake phenomenon can get old fast. [continues]
