Play dough not only stimulates a child’s creativity. It also improves their eye/hand coordination, and small motor skills. This makes it the perfect product to use in physical therapy to rebuild hand, finger and wrist muscles. C.Statement of Purpose:

Today, I’m going to show you how to make play dough.

I’m going to show you the four steps to making homemade play dough. 2.Body
A.Ingredients:
2 cups flour
2 cups warm water
1 cup salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cream of tartar
Food coloring
B.Mix and Heat:
Mix ingredients together and stir over medium heat. The dough will thick until it forms a ball in the pan. Keep stirring until the ball appears. C.Knead:
Place the ball of dough on the counter and let it cool. Then knead until it has a smooth texture. You may need to add flour if the dough is too sticky. D.Play and Store:
Use with cookie cutters, rolling pins, Popsicle sticks, ect. Store in an airtight container.
