my time at Numurkah secondary college I have seen many school captain speeches and as a year 7 I remember thinking wow I wish I had the courage to do that. Well who would have thought I would be standing up here today doing exactly what they were trying to do, persuade you? Well as Martin Luther king once said I have a dream, I also have a dream and that is to represent my school and to give my fellow students a voice.
I am not going to stand up here today and make false promises I cannot keep but I will try my best to make this school an even better place and overcome any challenge I am faced with, I will listen to any of your problems and help you to overcome them and I guarantee I will be a helping hand when you need it. I am a hardworking and a driven student so you can count on me to get the job done.
During my time at at this college I have had some leadership experience that being junior vice-captain of grey house, being in that role I took on many responsibilities like the Anzac march, making banners and supporting my house and peers only to name a few.
In the role of leadership I believe it’s all about you and serving the students of Numurkah secondary college by achieving the needs and wants of you, the students. So remember when you get that voting card don’t just sit there and dwell VOTE 1 Danielle.
