Name of Speaker: Rudy Giuliani, Hill Harper, and Vernice Armour
1. What were the main points of this speaker’s presentation?
Rudy Giuliani’s main points were that by being a leader one has to have a strong set of beliefs, have a direction, be optimistic, have courage, be able to take risk, and be a great communicator.
Hill Harper’s main points were based on how to build wealth. For the purpose of this video, wealth means going after and achieving one’s goals. He stated that if one could eliminate fear and negative inherited behavior, one could live with impact and legacy and be active architects of our own lives.
Vernice Armour’s main point was to engage in our plans in order to be successful. First, one should create a plan. Next, give yourself access and exposure to different possibilities. Third, one should not be afraid to fail. Finally, one should not procrastinate. When it comes to your dreams, one should go after it immediately and not wait. When you believe in you dream enough, others will follow and back you up.
2. How will you apply this information in your life?
I will apply Rudy Giuliani’s information in my current job and future career in order to move up the ladder and show upper level management that I am trust worthy of leading.
I will apply this information in my life by securing my future due to building a strong foundation, having a blueprint, making the right choices to see my blueprint come alive, and opening doors to new ideas, new people, and new information.
I will apply this information in my life by eliminating the bad habit of procrastination. If I want something as bad as I want to breathe, then I will go for it as quick as I can think it. Those that wait come in last place. Though there are times when patience is key, it’s not a good idea to put my dreams on hold.
