Sound Body
Importance of Eating a Balanced Diet And Maintaining a Sound Body

Having a sound body is essential. One of the traits or characteristics of a balanced man is having a sound body and through the process you learn how to balance both sound mind and sound body. In order to achieve this one of the things I incorporate into my daily life is exercise. Whether it be a walk/jog, playing basketball or some type of sport, or even going to the gym to work out for a bit, I try to incorporate some type of daily exercise in my routine whenever I have time to do so. Another task that I have kind of been slacking on that contributes to a sound body is that of eating the right foods. Being in college and all it makes it hard sometimes to maintain a healthy diet with all the temptations at every corner. It is important to try and eat healthy though so you aren't gaining excessive amounts of weight and putting stress on your body. Int he long run it helps you to live a longer and better lifestyle. Abstaining from any type of drugs is also a large factor in keeping a sound body. I have taken this to heart in my everyday life because I have never done drugs to this day and I never plan to. Even with all the peer pressure and countless opportunities to try it I have managed to keep away from all drugs and it has definitely helped me maintain a sound body. Alcohol is also another factor in keeping a sound body and although I don't stay away from alcohol I also don't consume crazy amounts of it. I try and take it in moderation so it doesn’t effect me as bad as it does for other people and I don't think that it hurts my strive for having a sound body. One of the last things that helps me maintain a sound body is being sexually safe. Without doing so it could lead you down a very dark path. If you aren't practicing safe sex it could cause many sexually transmitted diseases and end up hurting you in the long run with relationships maybe even costing you your life if it

HOW SOUND WORKS: The different ways that sound works is by a wave called the longitudinal wave. Like it said in source 1 "The longitudinal wave is a wave that travels in a single direction which means how loud the sound is and the pitch of the sound will vary and will depend on the amount of energy that was sent out as the wave was released'' . so when the longitudinal wave is released it goes to the brain so that the brain can translate it and tell you what it is.Another way sound works is by hearing sounds in paragraph 3 it states "that vibrations are created ,and a longitudinal wave is sent out , but that does not guarantee that anyone is able to hear sound''. so when you hear sound there are many ways to hear it even if you can't you can…

Mature bluewhales can measure anywhere from 75 feet (23 m) to 100 feet (30.5 m) from head to tail, and can weigh as much as 150 tons (136 metric tons). That's as long as an 8- to 10-story building and as heavy as about 112 adult male giraffes! These days, most adult blue whales are only 75 to 80 feet long; whalers hunted down most of the super giants. Female blue whales generally weigh more than the males. The largest blue whale to date is a female that weighed389,760 pounds (176,792 kg).…

Most people will think of physical wellness as how they are feeling, whether they are sick, tired, or injured in some sort of way. According to Harper, he defines physical wellness as the ability to perform daily activities in a safe, capable, and efficient manner, as well as the physical capacity to respond effectively in unusual situations (2008). Harper further mentions that there are five components of physical wellness, such as cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, muscular endurance, body composition, and flexibility. If a person does not have physical wellness then they are at an increased risk of a lifestyle disease such as hypokinetic disease, diabetes, and obesity. Qualities of a person that inhibits physical wellness, as discussed by the Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research are controlling your weight, combating health conditions and diseases, improves your mood, boosts your energy, sleep better, put the spark back into your love life, and physical fitness can be fun (2011). Furthermore the general goal is to aim for at least 30 minutes of physical activity every day in order to attain the above qualities (Mayo Foundation for Medical Education and Research, 2011). One way of getting started into a goal of being physically well is to check your Body Mass Index (BMI), hip to waist circumference, and partaking in…

For a healthy sex life men need good circulation (which increases sensitivity in the penis), physical vitality, and good hormone function. A balanced diet is extremely important in optimizing one's sexual responsiveness. Sexual vitality clearly decreases with malnourishment. A healthy cardiovascular system should be the focus of any diet. Low-fat, high-fiber diets along with complex carbohydrates are strongly recommended. Maintaining good circulation and a healthy weight will lead to better sexual function. Protein intake such as eggs, fish, meat or poultry, is proven to increase libido, yet excessive protein may interfere with sexuality. Cholesterol intake should be observed, if it is too low sexual function and vitality can be affected. On the other hand if a man's cholesterol levels are high this can lead to decreased sensitivity in the genitals therefore placing restraints on his pleasure.…
