Statement of Purpose to Study in Canada

Respected Sir/ Madam,

In the changing field of Engineering and Technology where each new day sees a spate of new concepts and applications and each passing day makes them obsolete, I wish to have the highest level of education and transcend new horizons. The vast application potential when combined with management always fascinates me and I am keen to continue my academic pursuit in this direction.

A passion to achieve expertise in Information systems and to be a part of the powerful technological workforce of my country, are the objectives to my Graduate Study. It would help hone my skills, earn proficiency and seek professional exposure. A graduate course would pave way to earning hands-on experience and acquire specialization in the desired field of study.

In my undergraduate studies, I have benefited from the breadth of Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University’s syllabi content that has given me a comprehensive exposure to the core areas of Mechanical Engineering and a strong conceptual understanding of the same, but it is the 6-month In-plant training at German Manufacturing giant Bosch Ltd., Jaipur that helped me gain excellent fundamentals of Information Systems through a well-structured series of projects. During the training I was exposed to various Management Information Systems like Oracle, SAP & other Bosch invented software’s. It was then I realised my Passion, it was “Information Systems”. I picked up a job which involved world’s biggest Information System Software i.e. SAP (Systems Application & Products for data processing) with an Infrastructure firm (Oriental Structural Engineers Pvt. Ltd.). It gave me insights about the field and motivated me to seek an improved career in this field.
