REFORMING THE BOARDING HOUSE
Boarding house is a place where some or all people study and live during the school year with their fellow students and, probably teachers. The word 'boarding' is used in the sense of keeping students or people in a place for a particular period of time. Some boarding schools also have day students that attend the institution by day and return off-campus to their families in the evenings. Going to boarding school isn't an easy decision. You will need to adjust to a new environment. The physical separation from your family and old friends can make the decision emotionally difficult. Financial costs are also consideration fact especially international schools like, International Community School. Is it worth it? Couldn't the same education and experience be offered by a private day school? Or a good Public high school? Living on your own isn't always easy. There is, of course, plenty of support from teachers, advisors and peers. But still, you need to take care of yourself and take responsibility for your own actions to a much greater point than if you were living at home. There’s definitely structure within the boarding house but if they are not properly taken care of the students would find it difficult to live in and produce effective results. This is based on the situation that most rooms in the boarding house are overcrowded with individuals and this situation can easily cause communicable diseases like cough which will definitely affect the health of every individual in the room. With this, they would not be able to perform well and produce the basic necessities required from them: which is coming to class and do well in their studies.
