Parts of a rectangular parallelepiped

FaceAlso called facets or sides. A rectangular parallelepiped has six faces which are all rectangles, so all four interior angles are right angles.

EdgeA line segment formed where two edges meet. A rectangular parallelepiped has 12 edges. VertexA point formed where three edges meet. A rectangular parallelepiped has 8 vertices.
