1. ‘socratix’ Selection Process
‘socratix’ is a learning initiative by Bharat Petroleum Learning Centre (BPLC). The process of participation and selection is as f ollows: The preliminary round will be conducted as a short listing round and all interested management staff are invited to participate (individually or maximum two participants per team). Ten selected entries f rom the preliminary round will be included f or the f inal case study and presentation bef ore a jury panel of BPCL senior executives & our knowledge partner. The finalists will be chosen by the jury adjucating during the final presentation of the case.
1.1 Instructions for submission
The instructions given below f or submission of entries are applicable to all BPCL employees participating in the preliminary round of ‘socratix’ case study competition. Entries should not exceed the limit of 1000 words. All entries should be in the form of a Microsoft W ord document in font Times New Roman (size 12) with single line spacing. Submissions should be titled (the file name) as per the following f ormat: __socratix 2010 prelim Entries should be sent by email only with Subject “socratix Case Analysis: ” to z_bplc_ev ent@bharatpetroleum . in The last date f or receipt of submissions is midnight of 21 s t October,2010. Entries received af ter the due date/time will not be accepted. The maximum team size will be limited to two. Entries that do not f ollow the aforesaid procedure will be rejected.
