*Sociology, is the scientific study of human social life, groups, and socities.(1) Sociology is used to help us understand the how we are in the world, how we act in our cultures, and why we act as we do. It looks at things like race and gender affect are viewed and affect societies ways of living. While they maybe a bit similar, Sociology differs from psychology in that, Sociology focues on the study of human behaviour in groups. Psychology is the study of the individual human mind. It focuses on inner problems and tries to figure out why people think and behave as they do.
