1.)         When examining how individuals correspond to others during a group meeting or session, it is evident that there are various factors that influence specific behaviors of the individuals in these groups.   These factors can range from leadership, to diversity and play an important role in the sociological aspect of group performance.   Groups operate on different dimensions, and one of the most important being group leadership.   Some groups acknowledge the leaders amongst them, while others tend to stick to their own beliefs and morals.   Sometimes it is difficult to actually assign a leadership role to anyone, for instance when analyzing common household problems, men and women may work together to accomplish the task at hand, and not delegate any roles.   Groups can benefit from two kinds of leadership, instrumental and expressive.   One stresses the completion of tasks; the other minimizes tension and focuses on well-being.   Another dimension of group behavior is classified as group conformity.   Everyone wants to be liked; this is shaped by group pressure and acceptance.   From different things I’ve heard throughout the media, it amazes me the lengths some will go to gain respect or acceptance.   It is actually sad that people are categorized for the way they look and these people feel like they have no choice but to perform actions that that contribute to belonging to a group and gaining acknowledged in a positive manner.   For these reasons some may believe that establishing groups creates negative experiences for some.   It is difficult to measure this however.   Our entire world is run on a group setting, controlling and working together to accomplish important tasks that shape our culture as it stands.   I am not saying I agree with what our government does, or believes in, I am simply providing information that reveals a correspondence to the topic at hand.   Our attitudes and behaviors are shaped in so many different ways.   People that surround our lives...
