society depend too much on technology
Does our society depend too much on technology?
Yes, I think the society is really dependent on technology nowadays. Since the technologies are very developed and popular, people are more relying on computers, laptops and Internet. In today's world, people use computers in business, education and in the entertainment world. There are lots of mordern gadgets coming out these days. All people like to use mobile phones, computers and Internet. People cannot live without these things. It's like everyone must have these things to survive in this world. I remember when i was in high school and I didn't know how to use Internet and we couldn't use mobile phones at that age. But now, almost every kids have thier own Ipads and mobile phones. Everyone has thier facebook, gmail accounts to connect with others. I remember the times when we had to write letter to contact with others around the world. But now there are new things happening that you only have to sit in front of the computer and you can connect with everyone around the world. So i think technology makes us more easy to live life. But i don't think that is a good thing. I think technology makes us become more lazy to do things.Almost everyhting we do in our life is affected by modern technology. People obsess over computers, Internet and mobile phones. I am in fact one of them.
Even though I like to use these things, I think technology is influencing us in many bad ways. Nowadays, the computers do everything for us so we don't have to use our brains anymore. And also if we want to find out about something, we can just look it up on the Internet and all the information comes out. So people become more lazy and dumber. First, we use computers everywhere nowadays. Everyone owns a set of computer and a mobile phone. Computer is doing everything for us that we have to do by ourselves. Students use computers to write down the texts while they actually write themselves. This makes the students become more lazy to write.

For many years technology has been consuming our daily lives, to the point where it has taken over our minds and actions. Nowadays people pay more attention to their phones, computers, etc., rather than everything else around them, therefore becoming less alert and more prone to engaging in activities without thinking of the consequences. However, if used right, technology can be a great tool in solving everyday questions, but for the most part technology has a negative impact on society. I personally don’t always depend on technology. If I don’t know a meaning of a word or if I have a question that I can’t answer I would look up information in dictionary and books first. And if I still can’t find it then I will use the internet. Internet is also a very big factor in everyday activities today. According to a youtube video,”shift happens 2016”, 75 billion devices will be connected to the Internet by 2020. This number is 10 times our human population! It’s a fact that technology has made us dependent and lazy but, Whether we let technology take over human species is on our…

The person of the 21st century has the luxury of being dependent on technology, allowing for certain weaknesses to sprout out of individuals due to their lack of natural abilities. Technology is the making, modification, use, and knowledge of tools, machines, or techniques, in order to solve a problem, improve a preexisting solution to a problem, achieve a goal, or perform a specific function. It’s true; technology has made life more efficient and reliable. Many great inventions have been possible through technology. Technology is also one of the causes of people becoming lazier, uninspired, and less creative. Technology is not bad in and of itself, but people are misusing it. Planes, trains, and automobiles carry people from place to place at high speeds. Telephones, television and computer networks help people communicate with others across the world. Medical technologies from vaccines to Stem Cell therapy, allow people to live longer, healthier lives. Although most people think technology made life easier, it’s actually making them overly dependent on those technologies.…

Most people say that as time advances so does technology. These advances in technology come at a cost. While technology has been developing, types of technology have been slowly eroding many aspects of our society and how people conduct themselves in social situations. Technology has also led to a decline in education and how people, in particular, students, gain knowledge. On a broad scale technology has both assisted law enforcement and, at the same time, led to the creation of new types of crimes and how old crimes are committed. Finally, technology has had a negative impact on the physical build of people, particularly in the United States. Though technology has assisted society in many good ways, most advances come at a cost which is slowly rising. These costs have a negative impact on many aspects of everyday life.…

Since the industrial revolution, society has become more and more dependent on technology. So much so that we sometimes lack the willingness to think before we act. We become impatient if it takes more than a few seconds to download a copy of the morning news paper. We expect immediate responses to our email, and we expect someone to answer their cell phone whenever and wherever we call. “Industrialization resulted in rapid and sustained economic growth and a massive increase in consumer goods. But at the same time, for many people it meant a thoroughly unpleasant work environment.”1…

The world depends on technology constantly. It is uncommon to see people pass by without their face in the phone or headphones and an iPod. Technology seems like it commands the world. It has brought on great things such as cars, microwaves, advances in medicine and even alarm clocks, but is society too dependent? Not many people can remember a simple seven digit phone number without scrolling through their contacts. Technology seems to have placed a damper on the common sense of people. Society relies on Google and YouTube if a problem needs to be fixed rather than finding out themselves or asking an actual person for assistance. It is like a child asking their parent for help on homework and the parent just doing the work for the child. The child will never learn anything but, “I can just charm mommy with my cute dimples and I will never have to do homework again.” It is nice to have a crutch every now and again, but people…

Technology has a negative effect on today’s society because it separates people from reality. Take the ipod for example: when people put those white headphones and start blasting music through them while they are in a public space, it disconnects them from the real world. “For some people, the main appeal of the iPod is that it preoccupies you so that you do not have to deal with the uncontrollable factors of everyday life,” writes Krystle Songa University of California, student on her website “Attack of the iZombies.”…
