Helen appears to live a charmed life. She has been married for 18 years to a successful attorney named Charles. One the morning of November 6 2010 Helen wakes up to some heart breaking news. Her husband Charles wants a divorce, another woman is moving into her house and she has to leave her house without any of her belongings. She has nowhere to go her husband isolated her from her family. However, Helen moves in with her grandmother Madea, sassy women with no shortage of opinions who helps Helen get back on her feet.
