I am an 18 year old girl born in Wordsley hospital in1996, from a town named Halesowen situated within the Dudley region of the West Midlands in the United Kingdom. I have lived in Halesowen all my life with my parents and older sister, this was until I moved out of my home to go to university in Worcester and study Sociology. I am the first member of my family to go to university as my dad runs his own business and my mother works part time as a midwife in a hospital in Birmingham. My older sister is now a stay at home mom who lives in Brean with her fiancé and two daughters.
Firstly, the three happenings in my life I will discuss in this assignment are being born, being born a female and becoming an aunty. I will focus on these in particular as they are the biggest life events which have occurred in which I have had ultimately no control over, therefore I deem as most important. Secondly, the three choices in my life in which I have had total control over and have altered my life significantly are stopping gymnastics at the age of 15 after doing it since the age of 3, having a part time job since the age of 16 and choosing to go to university.
Ultimately these happenings have affected my choices and structured the decisions I make and have made showing that you can turn what you have no control over into something you have complete control over.
