CLASS HISTORY: “A Glimpse on our Yesteryears”
“A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.”
It’s been three years when we became freshmen, the neophyte in the High School Department. We can hardly forget Mr. Adrean S. Magbojos our 1st Year Adviser. Why? I still remember those challenging times when our batch was the underdog in so many things. Yet there goes Sir Ad, always reminding us that “Anything is Possible” and “It’s not about winning or losing, it’s how all of us perform and give our best in the Games of Life.” So every now and then, we would always SMILE when we recall those times we’ve became scared and shy because we were still frightened to commit mistakes. We were all grateful spending precious moments with Sir Ad... “We had been Mature in one realm, Goodbye to Childhood.”
Life isn’t really a Bed Of Roses unless you make the most of it. We had perceived this during our Sophomore Year with our very determined Adviser Ms. Ma. Peñafrancia Tion. Our camaraderie, love, and respect for one another grew more than what all of us presumed. Because of that, we became united. I treasure the moment when we placed 2nd and our former classmate Patricia Barron placed 3rd in a Declamation Contest. Furthermore, we’ve almost overcome the Fourth Year class in a Speech Choir Competition, although we only placed 2nd , not bad after all for we’ve really exerted our best to be on the edge of the said competition. During those times, we knew that being 2nd Year students is truly challenging... “Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.”
Mrs. Ceceil E. Daigdigan, our Class Adviser during our Junior Year had an essential role in our lives. Without her guidance, maybe most of us now had not became who we were. With pride we say all the learnings she taught us became a part of us and applied in our daily lives. We love her just like how we love our parents.
