Skin Conditions
When it pertains to cancer, it is found that skin cancer is the most common. It is important to recognize that there are three different skin cancers which is basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma. The first two skin cancers derive their name from where they occur in the basal cell and squamous cell. These two cancers mostly develop on areas of the body that are exposed to the sun. The melanoma cancer is the most serious type of cancer and it derives it's name from the cells melanocytes where it begins. These cells are responsible for producing the pigment melanin which is important in protecting deep layers of skin from sun exposure and it's effects.

When it comes to skin care, the use of antioxidants is very important. Antioxidants are most notably used because it is able to limit the production of free radicals which is harmful to the skin. Free radicals are harmful to the skin because they break down collagen proteins which are responsible for helping to keep the skin healthy and looking young. Therefore antioxidants are commonly used in skin creams to kill free radicals and promote collagen production. The use of antioxidants are very beneficial because they do many things to promote healthy skin such as lessen wrinkles, reduce age spots and acne. Particularly the vitamins which these antioxidants have such as vitamin A and B help in promoting healthy skin.

When identifying humans, finger prints are commonly utilized because of its unique patterns among individuals. It is found that what determines the pattern of fingerprint is what occurs in a layer of the skin called the basal layer. The surrounding layers of skin the outer layer the epidermis and inner dermis contribute to this pattern because the basal layer which grows faster than these layers causes this layer to fold creating the skin pattern. Ultimately the pattern will become visible on the surface of the skin however it is hard to destroy your finger prints

To get down to basics there are five clinical types of melanoma. The most common form is called the superficial spreading melanoma and it about 70% of all melanoma cases. It is commonly found on the truck in men and on the legs in woman (Joan 4). Many people get confused on what melanoma is. Melanoma is a tumor of melanin-forming cells, melanin cells are cells that have turned dark brown by the overexposure of sun. Basal and squamous are a less deadly form of skin cancer also caused by the overexposure of sun. It's important for us to know why skin cancers specifically the more deadly ones like melanoma are spreading and the answer is very clear.
