Six Dimensions of Health Worksheet
For each of the following six dimensions of health, list at least one characteristic, activity, belief, or attitude that reflects that dimension in your life. Provide a brief explanation with each example. Refer to Ch. 1 in the text for explanations of these dimensions.
Physical health: Exercising- To perform normal activities and tasks essential in today’s society.
Social health: Hanging out with my family and friends because I make it a point to meet new people and make more friends wherever I go so I can keep my social life healthy and active, but I much prefer to hang out with my family more than others.
Intellectual health: Having down time- It allows me to clear my head, and helps me stay focused with things going on in my life so If you cannot think clearly than you will not be able to make responsible decisions in life.
Environmental health: An activity that reflects environmental health is the way you treat the environment around you like cleaning my house I like to have a nice, clean, and organized environment where I can concentrate and relax. If you are a hoarder than you can harm your physical and mental health.
Emotional health: diet plan-I have struggled with my weight sometimes so I have a diet plan to help me by giving me a challenge to change the person I am. It helps to build up great self-esteem.
Spiritual health: The way of life or the value of life- I would have to say Yoga, to keep myself balanced. It relaxes me spiritually.
