If Marry had an abortion she would have killed Jesus Christ and If your mother had an abortion she would have killed you! If your mother never aborted you then, why you would want to abort your own? Luke 6:31 records Jesus saying, “Do to others as you would have them do to you.” If God does justice for His people, He expects His people to do justice for one another. "Be merciful as your heavenly Father is merciful" (Luke 6:36). " Abortion involves killing a human being, which defies a commandment from God. The Sixth Commandment of the Bible's Old Testament (Exodus 20:13) is "Thou shalt not kill." Abortion is the opposite of these teachings. It is a reversal of justice. It is a destruction of the helpless rather than a rescue of them. If God’s people do not intervene to save those whose lives are attacked, then the people are not pleasing or worshiping Him. When you abort you go against the will of God. Jeremiah 1:5 where God says “before I formed you in the womb I knew you before you were born I set you apart.”
(WHAT IS ABORTION) - An abortion is when the pregnancy is ended so that it does not result in the birth of a child. Sometimes this is called 'termination of pregnancy'. (STATISTICS) Every year almost 12,000 teenagers have abortions provided by bpas. (BRITISH PRENANCY ADVISORY SERVICE) (TYPES OF ABORTION) -The pregnancy is removed from the womb, either by taking pills (medical abortion) which involves taking medicines to cause a miscarriage or by surgery (surgical abortion) where the pregnancy is removed from the womb. (1)- No civilized society permits one human to intentionally harm or take the life of another human without punishment, and abortion is no different. (2)- A female who is a victim of rape and incest, appropriate medical care can guarantee that a woman will not get pregnant. Abortion chastises the unborn child who committed no crime; instead, it is the culprit who should be punished. (3)- Adoption is a viable alternative to abortion and accomplishes the same result. There is no such thing as an unwanted child. According to the data from the National Surveys of Family Growth from 1973, 1982, 1988, and 1995, that there were 9.9 million women who had ever considered adoption, 16% had taken steps towards adoption, and 31% of these had actually adopted a child. (National Center for Health Statistics, 1999) According to the 1988 National Survey on Family Growth, about 2 million women ages 15 to 44 (3.5%) had ever sought to adopt a child. Black and nonblack women were equally likely to have sought to adopt. (Bachrach, London, Maza, 1991) Philosophical arguments
(1). If the human is a person only when neurologically functioning as a human, then by that same argument it would be permissible to kill people while they are in deep sleep, in comas, or mentally handicapped. (2). The most compelling argument for abortion is denying that the fetus is a person. If one can do this absolutely, then abortion is not wrong. (3). Even if the fetus is not a person, but we don’t know it, abortion qualifies as criminal negligence. Without perfect certainty that the fetus is not a person, doing anything to endanger its potential personhood is morally indefensible.
Arguments in support of pro-choice (The points in bold are the rebuttals to what people may think why abortion should be legal)
"It is uncertain when human life begins; that's a religious question that cannot be answered by science." If there is uncertainty about when human life begins, the benefit of the doubt should go to preserving life. "The fetus is just a part of the pregnant woman's body, like her tonsils or appendix. You can't seriously believe a frozen embryo is an actual person." Being inside something is not the same as being part of something. "The unborn is an embryo or a fetus-just a simple blob of tissue, a product of conception-not a baby. Abortion is terminating a pregnancy, not killing a...
