Introduction

After analyzing fortune 100 Best Companies to Work For, I definitely decided to choose Information Technology - Software industry. There were 6 different companies: SAS (6046 employees), Ultimate Software (1209 employees), Adobe (5296 employees), Autodesk (2798 employees), Microsoft (53410 employees) and The Go Daddy Group (3274 employees). My choice was Adobe. In my individual research I want to analyze the current situation of this organization by using SWOT analysis. Firstly I want to explain the sphere for which Adobe belong to. In Software development is the process by which a company, team, or individual devises and implements an overall plan to create a new software program. The process of software development usually begins with research or a general understanding of what type of software is needed in the marketplace. The company has historically focused upon the creation of multimedia and creativity software products, with a more-recent foray towards rich Internet application software development. Adobe was founded in December 1982 by John Warnock and Charles Geschke, who established the company after leaving Xerox PARC in order to develop and sell the PostScript page description language. Adobe system is a software company, focused on digital media. The company offers creative, business and mobile software and services to creative professionals, designers, knowledge workers, high – end consumers, original equipment manufacturers, software developers and service providers.
