Should Vaccinations be Mandatory?
This essay will attempt to investigate the employment of the 23 plus vaccinations used today and how they defend the preventions and spread of diseases. The paper will support the pros and the cons of vaccinations that are supported by research statistics as well as the different symptoms that have been reported for each available vaccine. What is a vaccine? Vaccines have been defined as the development of depleted or killed microscopic organisms and once given that energizes antibody formulations. ("Vaccine," 2010) 23 various types of immunizations exist today. Vaccines have been reported to cause reactions that have gone under-reported and certain public health officials have been tracked to downplaying the risks while alternatively accenting the benefits. With media and increased encumbrance from anti-immunization activist, certain government disclosures have been slowing moving forward and rectification has been initiated to families who have suffered tragedies from certain vaccinations. (Marston 1993) Activists have been pushing to for more detailed research into. 1.The causes of the conflicting reactions; 2) the long term characteristics of the immunizations; and 3) the attainable connections between what vaccines are deemed mandatory and the major increases in specifically related illnesses. Researchers have also investigated the illnesses that were synonymous with the vaccines realizing that a few of them presented a small risk of crucial damages, while a few others are nearly extinct now. It appears that with all vaccines, some aspect of concern is related to how long the immunity will last.(Mendelsohn 1984) To further explain about the depth of the research and how much has been revealed, two recent stories are having raised concerns over the long term effects. 1.)Dr. J Classen who is the owner of Classen Immunotherapies, has stated that he can actually prove a compelling association between vaccinations and an influx in cases reported in regards to insulin studies in research in children with diabetes. Classen`s research abstracts debates that the elevated risk of juvenile diabetes is much greater than that of the risk of the disease and what the vaccination is contrived to prevent. (BMJ1999) 2.)More recent research has elevated more questions. Major concerns have been addressed in regards to the contingency of mercury used in vaccines. In 2000 Senator Burton of the US Congress, requested in a letter, that the FDA do an immediate recall of all thimerosal vaccines. There was reliable testimony in support of the mercury and that fact that it may have caused autism in children. (Dept. of Health and Human Services 2000) Should Parents Vaccinate their Children?

This is the latest questions that have arisen in recent years. Should doctors and researchers make available the use of all vaccines that are being recommended by the FDA and should they be used at the times recommended? Alternatively public health officials would have a high probability of stating “yes” to both questions listed, a cautious investigation of all truths regarding vaccinations does present a more difficult answer. Although much evidence has been produced, public health officials and several medical practitioners have not revealed the relevant information essential for parent to make clear informed decisions. Alternatively, many have debated the risks of many of the diseases. Few have been embellished, while the facts concerning the major side effects of several vaccines have been considered a major conspiracy. (Andre 2008) Major factors in regards to Decision Making

A few questions do arise for parents when the decisions need to be made in regards to immunizations. 1.How dangerous are these vaccinations to your child?
2.How persuasive is the vaccine in preventing the disease?
3.How dangerous are the vaccine side effects?
4.What are the chances of a child getting a...
