Should Mobile Phones Are Allowed at School? Discuss.
Nowadays, many inventions are invented for our daily use. The most common invention is mobile phone. Almost everyone has their own mobile phone to communicate. People bring along their mobile phone everywhere they go. But the question is, why mobile phones are not allowed to use by pupils at school? Mobile phones have many advantages especially for students. It helps us to communicate to one another. It would be a lot easier if students bring phones to school. For example, teachers cand send text messages to class monitor to ask how many students attend to school today. So, teachers do not need to use efforts going to the class early in the morning. Furthermore, students can call their parents when facing urgent times immediately. Sometimes, public phones cannot be used due to vandalisme made by irresponsible students. Apart from that, upper secondary school students are encouraged to bring phones in school. That is because they got extra classes and do not know at which time the class is going to end. Moreover, the teachers can call the students’ parents whenever they are sick. The parents might probably have changed their phone number and bet if the students brought mobile phone, the teacher would have easily contacted their parents. Students can refer to mobile phones when they need to search for homework that given by the teachers. They do not need to waste time searching in thick books. They would probably study by saving notes in their phones when teachers give them some extra notes. Many students mention that they could study beter only when using earphones to listen to the music. It does not disturb any other students’ peaceness as earphones are plugged in. But there are also disadvantages of bringing phone at school. For example, friends would envy to one who has an expensive smartphone. This will cause the increase of stealing things happening at school. Other than that, the boys would peep at the girls in the toilet by recording videos through mobile phones. As the girls also have their pride, they would argue to one another and at last leads to fights that will mostly cause injury. The problems may have taken to displinary teachers. Afterwards, the displinary teachers need to handle problems of these and have to skip their class for teaching. The students will take this chance to play mobile phones during learning class. They would not pay attention and when it comes to examination, the might be blurred or blanked how to answer the questions. Due to this, many studentas would have worse marks. Unfortunately, for the disonest students, they would find a better way to cheat by using mobile phones. They may exchange answers by sending text messages to their friends. Besides that, they may save some notes in the phones. So, they can refer to it during examination. The students would have misused the uses of phones. There are many advantages and disadvantages of bringing mobile phones. But we find it many disadvantages. For conclusion, I do not agree students should be allowed to bring mobile phones at school. They would have done wrong with their handphones. For the sake of goodness, it is good if students are not allowed to bring mobile phones at school.

Cellular phones are very distracting. Are we now slaves to our technology? If the student needs to call home they only need to go to the main office or guidance to contact a parent or guardian. Most calls home are not for emergencies, they are for mere simple communication that do not need to be done during school. It must have been a miracle that I made it through that time without the need of a cell phone. The majority of the calls, if not all, will be used in idle chatter. Their current uses are for distraction, social interaction, and lewd photography. And let's not ignore the parents who would call students DURING CLASS to talk about non-emergency issues. If it is truly an emergency, call the school main number and have the child brought to the office. There should be NO tcell phones in the schools.…

Cell phones help students communicate more efficiently. Article one supports students using cell phones to communicate with each other by text messaging missing assignments for friends that were absent from school. This also allows the student to review the notes at a later time electronically. In today’s world, parents rely on cell phones to communicate with their student at all times, as well as, using the cell phone as a tool in case of emergency. Even in schools where cell phones are banned, 58% of students sent text messages during class according to Pew Internet research.
