Some person loosely define sex worker as a person who works in the sex industry. The term is used in reference to all those in all areas of the sex industry including those who provide direct sexual services as well as the staff of such industries. Others take different perspective they define as
Sex work
Is any agreement between two or more persons in which the objective is exclusively limited to the sexual act and ends with that and which involve preliminary negotiations for a price”. Sex work is considered as performing a service for men, and is defined as penetrative vaginal sex that takes place within a particular timeframe, up to 15 minutes.25
Sex worker
Female, male and transgender adults and young people who receive money or goods in exchange for sexual
Services, either regularly or occasionally, and who may or may not consciously define those activities as income generating
Transactional sex
An exchange of sexual acts for money or goods; the person would not self-identify as a sex worker, nor generally be viewed as such by the community. It is sex with a non-primary partner that is largely motivated by material gain

Conditions that contribute to entry to sex work
The life circumstances that compel people into sex work are the following
■ Poverty and limited economic Opportunities,
Individuals who have low-income jobs or other sources of partial support may
Supplement their income with part-time or short-term sex work. As they may not identify themselves as sex workers, these individuals may be particularly difficult to reach.
■ Gender inequalities Contribute to women entering into sex work. Although their rights and economic
Independence are often limited (in some instances, severely), women frequently bear the major burden of family obligations. In addition to having limited access to employment, women in many societies have few prospects of financial support outside of marriage other than sex work.
