The debate of the prompting this essay is to see how successfully Mark Haddon has portrayed a child with autism in his novel, “The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time.” Mark Haddon in the novel says that Christopher was a child with autism that does not like to be touched. Mark Haddon  insist that the novel is about difference not disability not just because I want to keep it out of the "issue novel" ghetto, though I do, but because Christopher's world is not one defined by constriction and deficit. His need for the comfort of routine is a need many of us share, and his insulation from other people's feelings is something we could all enjoy from time to time. More than this, however, the book can be exuberant because Christopher's mind can be equally exuberant. In the novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Mark Haddon successfully portrays the mind of a child with autism by explaining the characteristic of Christopher.  The overview of the condition is that you have to careful for the way you talk to the child with autism. I believe that children with autism do not mean any harm to anyone. The condition can also be the way you act, communicate, love, and adore the child with this disorder. Autism is a development disorder that appears in the first 3 years of life. And it also affects the brain's normal development of social and communication skills. Autism can cause children to act a certain way around other people. Autism causes the brain not to function really well. Autism affects not only people with the condition, but also their families and friends. In the novel, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Mark Haddon successfully portrays the mind of a child with autism by explaining the characteristic of Christopher.
