1. INTRODUCTION

The Insulated Building Systems Factory W.L.L (IBS) was established in 2006 at Bahrain, it's under the National Industries Company (NIC) Kuwait. The company is conduct by partnership National Industries Company (NIC) in Kuwait and Kooheji Contractor's (KC) at Bahrain. This factory is manufacturing AAC Block which is used for building and structural works. The annual production capacity of IBS factory is 100000 M3 which is supplied in all over the Bahrain. This factory is lead by the NIC which is under the National industries Group (NIG). The main product of IBS Factory is AAC blocks , AAC U Blocks AAC wall panels , AAC floor and roof panels , and AAC lintels. National Industries Company (NIC) specializes in manufacturing and marketing building materials and infrastructure products in Kuwait. NIC was founded in 1960. NIC is a subsidiary of the National Industries Group (NIG), which is a holding group that owns several industrial and financial companies in the Middle East, Europe, and North America. National Industries Group was listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange in 1984.

2.DESCRIPTION OF AAC BLOCKS

AAC Blocks also known as autoclaved cellular concrete (ACC) or autoclaved lightweight concrete (ALC), was invented in the mid-1920s by the Swedish architect and inventor Johan Axel Eriksson. It is a lightweight, precast building material that simultaneously provides structure, insulation, and fire and mold resistance. AAC products include AAC blocks , AAC U Blocks AAC wall panels , AAC floor and roof panels , and AAC lintels . AAC Blocks ( Autoclaved Aerated Concrete - " AAC ") a unique and excellent type of building materials due to its super heat, fire and sound resistance, AAC blocks is lightweight and offers ultimate workability, flexibility and durability. Its main ingredients include sand, water, quicklime, cement and gypsum. The chemical reaction due to the aluminum paste provides AAC its distinct porous structure, lightness, and insulation properties, completely different compared to other lightweight concrete materials. Aerated Concrete Blocks - AAC is produced from the common materials sand, lime, cement, gypsum, aluminum powdered and water, and a small amount of rising agent. After mixing and molding, it is then autoclaved under heat and pressure to create its unique properties. AAC has excellent thermal insulation and acoustic absorption properties. AAC is fire and pest resistant, and is economically and environmentally superior to the more traditional structural building materials such as concrete, wood, brick and stone. IBS AAC BLOCKS begins as a slurry mix of sand, lime, cement, gypsum, aluminum powdered and water, and a small amount of rising agent. For reinforced panels, a welded steel cage element is placed into the molds prior to pouring in the...
