Science and religion are two very different things. When we talk about science we get to the conclusion that it’s all about reasoning and experimentation. While religion is all about belief, what you belief to be true not what you can proof to be true. For me science is something you study to acquire more knowledge about how the world around us works and religion is a way of life. When religion is mentioned my mind goes to a faith in something bigger than me not to a hypotheses that can be proven wrong. Even though they are debated constantly what the article says is true one cannot evaluate religion with the same criteria that science is. Yes one can debate about the resurrection of Jesus and discourage Christians but it has been done many times and there are still more people with religious beliefs than scientific point of view of life. It’s not just Christianity but there is Buddhism, Hinduism and many more that scientific facts about their religion have contradicted their beliefs and they still have string beliefs. Ones beliefs are not for science to chose but for one self’s. In conclusion, science should not be put in the same column as religion for study though it does make for one great debate. Just to clarify I am a Christian but that does not mean I discriminate against those who don’t share my same beliefs in fact I’ve always thought that science is knowledge that the Lord allowed us to have to see how beautiful is the world he created.
