The School of Business and Management is committed to produce graduates who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitudes in creating and managing wealth for the common good.
Analysis:
Forming the right mission and vision for a certain entity happens after an external, industry, and internal analyses are done. With regards to the School of Business and Management, there are external factors that may affect the college. Some of them are opportunities that the college should opt to grab, while the others are threats that may put the college to a disadvantage if they are not taken into account. Such external factors, as well as internal factors, may affect the mission and vision of the School of Business and Management.
The School of Business and Management produces graduates who are knowledgeable and skilled in creating and managing wealth for the common good. Such graduates also possess leadership capabilities which are greatly needed in most of the business-related jobs today. Indeed, the college took into account one of the factors needed for a graduate to possess in order for one to be accepted for the job he/she applied for and in order for him/her to be utilized in the work environment. Advancement in the technology nowadays may be an opportunity for the college to add some skills that a School of Business and Management should possess. However, though the advancement of technology may prove advantageous to the college, it may also prove disadvantageous in some areas. Examples of such disadvantage are accounting softwares that are mass-produced nowadays.
