URI Youth Ambassadors Program 2011
The purpose of the URI Youth Ambassadors program is to develop the leadership capacities of young people from the URI network and likeminded organizations to be more effective interfaith organizers and peacebuilders, and to grow and strengthen the movement by building cross-cultural and regional connections between interfaith leaders.
Over the course of a year, those who are chosen as Youth Ambassadors will receive a resource toolkit, peer mentorship and opportunities to participate in interfaith activities and training programs. In exchange, Youth Ambassadors will commit to organize an interfaith service project or workshop in their community, set up a URI Cooperation Circle in their locality or cross-regionally around a specific topic, and utilize social networks and media to publicize the ideals and vision of the URI.
All interfaith-interested young people ages 18-30 are welcome to apply.
Applications must be received by November 15th, 2010!
