INTRODUCTION AND DESIGN OF THE STUDY
This project is prepared for the fulfillment of the “A STUDY ON THE USAGE OF ATM CARDS BY PULIYANGUDI STATE BANK DEPOSIT HOLDERS” is considered as one of the most interesting and effective topic so I select it, another reason that I want to know, is that whether the customer is satisfied with the ATM services provided by state bank. This project was taken to study the customer’s opinion about state bank ATM centre. Also this project deals with the uses of the centre and difficulties faced by customers in getting money.
Acronym for Automated teller machine, a machine at a bank branch or other location which enables a customer to perform basic activities (Checking once balance, withdrawing or transferring funds) even when the bank is closed.
Customer satisfaction of an individual towards the service is to be analyzed. State Bank is one of the important bank which cover throughout India. It has more than 10000 branches and more than 8500 ATMs in India. State Bank of India provides easy access to money to its customers through this large network ATM services. So I select State Bank for this study. Satisfaction is person’s feelings of pleasure of disappointment resulting from comparing a product perceived performance or outcome relation to his\her expectations. Whether the customer is satisfied after getting service depends on the offers performance in relation to the customer’s expectations. 1.2 Review of the literature
