1. Introduction
This report is a brief overview of the hospitality industry. Analysis of the Savoy hotel is carried out, in order to show how internal and external environment affect business. At the end of this report you will be able to understand the concept of Pestle and Swot analysis, also competitive advantage and competitive strategies, what it is used for and why it is so important.
2. Methodology
Report is based on information gathered from related online journals and websites such as British hospitality association and caterer.com, also word of mouth of the Savoy hotel staff. Information has been carefully selected and processed, although some of the statistics used is up to 4-5 years old.

UK Hospitality sector covers 14 industries from hotels and restaurants to events, gambling and travel
