I am writing in response to the above post. With the experience I have gained in my previous job, I believe that I am the best fit for this position. Please find the attached resume for your review and consideration.

As a fund accountant in XXX bank, i am given the chance to have a better understanding with custodian and back office operation.And due to my good performance, i was converted to permenant staff within 3 months from a contract role My responsiblity is to ensure a smooth operation such as Corporate Action, Income(Dividends/Interests), Foreign Exchange, Bonds and Stocks for various clients. Monthly reporting such as custody fees, mark to market valuation, price checking, ensures accounting entries (accrual) for various instruments are accurate. In cases of trades that are fail or unmatched, i will need to ensure there is sufficient reacting time for clients which post difficulties due to tight schedules.

My role in XXX LTD were a combination of Treasury/Finance (middle/back office) and Corporate Accounting. This was a very rare opportunity that enables me to understand financial instrument (Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Swap) and at the same time, preparing financial statement (Journal Entries, Consolidation package for asia branches, MAS Report(Quarterly EDB) Budget/Forecast, variance analysis,Quarterly GST filing, Tax provision, Withholding Tax, Foreign Currencies revaluation, Income computation (ECI and Actual) annually. I was also involved in a project which is Auto-uploading of settlement to internet banking, implementing the automatic deduction of finance bills in one account which saves time and manpower to oversee the bank balance. With my IT knowledge gained during polytechic, i abled to come out with Macro to actually serves as a checklist for tasks(Letters etc) to be done for Back office and reporting ( MAS Report, Variance analysis etc) that in turns cuts down on human error and...
