Sacrifice

In order to reach your goals, you must sacrifice or give something up. Without sacrifice not many things can be done. Many people such as Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and Goodyear sacrificed what they had for success. In order to achieve success or progress, people will have to be willing to give up important possessions. Only then the determination for success will be recognized with success.

Passion for success was illustrated when Bill Gates created Microsoft. Bill Gates dropped out of Harvard to work on his business idea. Gates took a leave of absence from Harvard to work at MITS in Albuquerque, New Mexico in 1975. As a result, the work was a success and the Altair Basic made a huge impact in the technological revolution. Without that sacrifice, computers would not be as we know it today. Even though the business idea seemed impossible, Bill Gates made the sacrifices in order to improve society and his own life.

Without the determination for success nothing can happen. However if enough willpower is shown progress and success lay in wait. Around the same era, a man named Steve Jobs sold his Volkswagen to construct 50 circuit boards. In order to make his dream come true, Steve Jobs sells one of his most cared and important items. The result was 50 Apple 1 computers. It paved the way for future technological advances. Without such sacrifice, the Apple 2 and the succeeding computers would not exist.

If these men did not make these sacrifices, the world would not be the same it is today. The achievements Steve Jobs and Bill Gates made could not have been created without these daring sacrifices. Their determination truly improved the lives of all.
