Policy Analysis
* Any types of analysis that generates and present information in such way as to improve the basis for policy-maker to exercise their judgement * To feed in helpful information at the various stages to help improve political choice.

Policy Argumentation
6 elements
1. Policy-relevant information
2. Policy claim – conclusion policy argument
3. Warrant – assumption permit analyst to move from policy-relevant in to policy claims 4. Rebuttal – second conclusion in which the original are unacceptable 5. Qualifier – expresses the analyst degree
